What is Ellman Pelleve Treatment?

Pelleve is a non-invasive treatment for smoothing, tightening and refreshing your skin. The FDA-approved procedure uses radiofrequency energy to tighten collagen and stimulate collagen production beneath the surface layer of the skin. Because it targets specific parts of the face, it causes contracting and tightening where you want it without harming the outermost layer of skin. It is a painless, effective treatment that is often compared to a relaxing massage. Pelleve is ideal for treating skin sagging, as well as wrinkles, folds and lines.

The Ellman Pelleve Treatment Process

The procedure is a comfortable experience that typically takes around 60 minutes. You will feel a gentle heat sensation that usually doesn’t require anesthetic. During the treatment, electromagnetic waves translate into heat applications in the skin. This contracts existing collagen and stimulates new collagen growth. Immediate tightening can often be seen on the skin’s surface while prolonged tightening and texture will develop as new collage grows.

What Results Should You Expect?

Results are often noticeable after one treatment, but a series of treatments (three to six) may be recommended to achieve ideal results. Typically there is no recovery time required after Pelleve treatment. Mild redness and swelling may occur for a few hours, but normal activities can be resumed immediately. Consistent use of sunscreen or protection will help maintain results of treatment.
