Why is Mohs Surgery Considered the Gold Standard in Skin Care Treatment?
With providers that have achieved the highest certification possible, VitalSkin uses Mohs micrographic surgery to effectively treat and eliminate skin cancer. Having the highest success rate of all skin cancer treatments – up to 99% – the procedure is done all in one visit, including lab work. In the Mohs procedure, the cancer is surgically removed layer by layer and examined under a microscope until healthy, cancer-free tissue is reached.
Our local providers are top dermatologists and advanced practice providers with extensive experience in general and cosmetic dermatology care with your health and best interest in mind.
