What is Belotero Balance (+)?

Belotero is an injectable filler that helps with smoothing moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. When injected, it can evenly integrate into your skin quickly. As a hyaluronic acid filler, it’s designed to have a soft, cohesive gel that when injected, instantly fills the skin. 

Belotero is ideal for treating delicate areas like lip lines, it’s also great for handling smile lines around the mouth and chin wrinkles. 

The Treatment Process

During treatment, Belotero is injected into the skin quickly using a fine-gauge needle. As with other injectable treatments, some discomfort during the procedure can be expected. If you have concerns, discuss with your provider to manage this. 

Following treatment, there is little to no downtime. In most cases, you can return to normal, daily activities after treatment. Common side effects that you may experience include swelling, itching, mild irritation, redness or bruising around the injection site. If these side effects last longer than seven days, contact your provider. Belotero is FDA approved and has undergone testing in clinical studies to demonstrate its safety.

What Results Should You Expect?

Individual results will vary, but typically Belotero lasts six months or more. Factors that affect the longevity of treatment are the amount of filler used and the specific area its injected in to. For example, in facial areas that experience more movement due to talking, chewing and smiling, the product may not last as long compared to less active areas.
