With over 14 years’ experience as a physician assistant, Sarah has been interested in medicine since she was young. She began working in a skilled nursing facility in high school and loved the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Sarah has been interested in dermatology specifically since her grandmother was diagnosed with melanoma. Realizing she could help others reduce their risk of skin cancer, she has worked in dermatology for the past seven years. She also focuses on patient education and providing them with the tools necessary to better their health.
She is an SDPA Diplomate Fellow and member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Association of Physician Assistants and National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Outside of the practice, Sarah enjoys bike riding, canoeing and camping with her husband and two sons. She has also participated in multiple half marathons.
