Scars

Scars are permanent changes in the skin due to inflammation, skin conditions or injury from a surgical procedure. While there are some treatments to minimize the appearance of scars, there are no options to remove scars entirely.

Causes of Scars

A scar forms on your skin when your body heals an injury. For scarring to occur, the wound has to be deep enough to injure the skin’s middle layer (the dermis). During the healing process, skin cells make collagen to repair the wound. Since this collagen is produced quickly, it creates thicker, less flexible tissue – which is a scar.

Laser Skin Resurfacing - Ablative

Laser Skin Resurfacing – Ablative is a cutting-edge cosmetic procedure that utilizes laser technology to improve skin texture and tone. By precisely removing outer layers of damaged skin, this treatment stimulates collagen production, resulting in a smoother, more youthful complexion. It effectively targets a range of skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and sun damage, providing clients with a refreshed and revitalized appearance.

Radiofrequency Microneedling

Radiofrequency microneedling is an effective treatment for fine lines, skin tightening and facial rejuvenation. Microneedling with radiofrequency specifically uses radiofrequency energy to gently heat the deeper layer of skin. Then as the skin grows back with new collagen and elastin, the surface will naturally thicken and tighten. Treatment is minimally invasive and is considered safe and effective for all skin types.

SkinPen® Microneedling

SkinPen® is a state-of-the-art, FDA-approved precision microneedling device. It is used by leading healthcare providers to rejuvenate from the inside out for younger looking skin.
