Alex Leis, FNP-C, DCNP

Alex began working in dermatology in 2012 as a nurse, then later became a nurse practitioner. She returned to dermatology in 2017 as a nurse practitioner and in 2019, became certified as a dermatology-certified nurse practitioner (DCNP).

Alex is originally from Oldham county and is excited to serve her hometown and surrounding communities. She loves many aspects of skin care, including the important role of identifying skin cancers early – not only to help lessen the risk of disfigurement, but to save lives in some situations. Alex also love being able to help those struggling with acne become more confident. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Dermatology Nurses’ Association

Outside of the practice, Alex enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, and their three dogs – Penny, Bella and Deedee.
